MUS-154 - Harmony 1 (3 credits)

A study of the elements of music. Harmony is emphasized as the student learns the art of composition and chord progressions. Ear training is programmed for students to work at his/her own rate of speed as he/she learns to aurally discriminate melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. Harmony 1 is not a prerequisite for Harmony 2. Harmony 3 is a continuation of Harmony 1 & 2. Harmony 4 is a continuation of Harmony 1,2, & 3.
