Discounted Pittsburgh Cultural Events tickets and other discounts available for students and staff:

Students and staff can purchase discounted tickets to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Please go to www.culturaldistrict.org/ccac to see valid discount offers from several Pittsburgh Cultural District companies.  Before you make your purchase, you will need to select the promo code CCAC1314 to see all valid performances and ticket prices offered under the Trust's promo code.  More shows are available online than listed and performances are added on a continual basis.  Please check the website regularly for updates.  Dinner packages are also available.  More information for these packages can be found at www.trustarts.org/events/groups/dinner-packages/.

Pittsburgh Public Theater—CCAC students get best seats available for a discounted rate to any show.  For tickets contact 412.316.1600. To order online, visit www.ppt.org and choose the show of your choice. Click on buy tickets and if you are a student, choose the 26 & under tickets and enter promo code HOTTIX.  Tickets will be held at the box office and you must present your CCAC ID when picking up your tickets.  Note there are fees with online purchasing.  It is better to call in your ticket order or come in person.

Kean Theatre—Students, faculty and staff enjoy 20% off all shows.  Call 724-444-KEAN(5326) and mention CCAC13 for discount.

City Theatre—No student discounts (they do however have under age 30 tickets available--you will need to show your driver's license.)

Coffee Buddha-Coffee Buddha, located at 964 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 is offering a 10% discount to all faculty, staff and students with a valid CCAC ID.

 

Volunteer Opportunity:

Volunteers needed to work the concession tents (serve food and beverages) at the Fox Den and the 9 Tee/10 green on Tuesday-Sunday June 24-29, Fox Chapel Golf Club for the 2014 Constellation Energy Senior PGA Golf Classic.  Pick any day(s)!  Shifts are:  7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; 10:00 a.m.-close or 11:00 a.m.-close.  Volunteers receive free parking, a free lunch and a credential to watch the Championship on the same day, before or after their volunteer shift.  All proceeds benefit Crisis Center North.  Go to http://goo.gl/3NQd0H to schedule a time.  Questions?  Contact Darla at 412.364.6728 or dbarie@crisiscenternorth.org.
