In her role as vice president for Business and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, Joyce Breckenridge oversees the Financial, Budgeting, Information Technology, Purchasing, Risk Management and Facilities Management functions at the college. Prior to assuming this role in 2008, she was CCAC’s Controller for nine years.
Breckenridge earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economics and holds a Master of Business Administraton (MBA) from Robert Morris University. She has also passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination. Prior to joining CCAC, she served five years as a corporate controller in private industry and twenty years in higher education financial, budgeting and human resources administration.
Breckenridge has a long record of dedication to the community. She has served on the boards of several regional non-profit organizations, such as the Beaver County Red Cross and the Beaver County Humane Society. She was formerly president of Beaver Falls Rotary Club and is currently the president of Beaver Valley National Organization for Women (NOW). Breckenridge is also an active member in the Pennsylvania Association of Community College Business Officers and an appointee to the Planning Commission of the New Brighton Borough Council.
