Why should you participate in the 2013 CCAC Family Campaign?
CCAC has expanded a now–$40 million comprehensive campaign, the first of its size in the history of the college. Imagine and Achieve: The Campaign for the Community College of Allegheny County is designed to support the region's economic needs through the institution's sustained investment in infrastructure, program enhancements, endowed professorships and workforce initiatives. CCAC is proud to launch this important initiative to benefit the students we serve every day—and proud to ask you, a member of the CCAC family, for your support.
Students are the reason we are all here at CCAC, but sometimes they need a little extra assistance. The CCAC Educational Foundation exists to provide scholarship and loan programs to our students, and to seek private grant support for college projects. The foundation has even been able to fund several projects in recent years that benefit CCAC employees and, in turn, our students. In the past year alone, the foundation provided more than $170,000 in scholarship funding to 205 students and an additional 464 students received Pittsburgh Promise scholarships.
Participation is important. More foundations than ever evaluate the percentage of employee giving when considering CCAC grant requests.
Participation is easy. You can make a one-time gift by submitting a check or by using our online donation site, or you can contribute throughout the year through payroll deduction. The CCAC Educational Foundation is also able to accept appreciated securities and memorial or honorary gifts.
Participation helps. Any level of giving helps CCAC students’ futures. Show you care. Please consider a donation, no matter the size, when you receive the 2013 Family Campaign information at your campus or center. The 2013 Family Campaign Pledge Card is also available electronically. The campaign lasts through June 2013—the impact lasts a lifetime.
