The common-sense guidelines listed below have been adopted by all computer labs in the CCAC system. They are intended to make each student's experience in the lab a positive and enriching one. With consideration for your fellow students, we will all benefit. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Use the computer resources primarily for academic purposes.
CCAC resources are not to be used for personal financial gain and/or commercial purposes.
Respect the needs of other users to access limited computer resources.
College computer resources are not to be used to transmit or display obscene, illegal, violent, discriminatory material.
Please abide by college printing standards.
Printing of large quantities of flyers, banners or other printed materials not academically related is discouraged. For print jobs of this nature, only one copy may be printed in the labs.
Abide by all signs posted in the computer labs.
Please do not unplug any cables, (power or network) from outlets in the computer labs. Your personal laptop/notebook computers may only access the CCAC wireless systems.
The responsibility for anything done under your account is totally yours. Please do not share your username or password.
CCAC is a smoke-free facility. Please do not smoke, drink or eat in any computing facility.
Please place your cell phone on vibrate and take all calls outside of the lab area.
All users need a valid network username and password to use CCAC computer resources.
Individuals under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult to use the computer lab.
Disruptive physical behavior and/or verbal interference will result in student being escorted to the Dean of Students office for disciplinary action.
