Classroom Training Workshops

Attend training conducted by the Datatel Trainer or Data Custodians. These schedules are posted on the Enrollme website, and will also be advertised via email from the ServiceDesk. Workshops are hands-on with documentation; classes are limited to 12 attendees, so register through EnrollMe early.

Online Resources for Employee Professional Development

We have deployed training resources in an open-source learning management system called Moodle. The Moodle site is provided by the ITS department for the purpose of online training and digital resources. CCAC Faculty, Staff, and Administrators may participate in a variety of online courses to improve their skills and knowledge.

Getting Started in Moodle

You will log in with your network username and password. Courses should appear and you will just type in the appropriate enrollment key to access the desired course. Check out our video demo of the Moodle system.

 

  • CCAC Professional DevelopmentNEW!
    This is a new course in Moodle available for all employees. This site provides handy Online Resources for faculty and employee development. We are also offering recordings of selected Professional Development workshops that you can watch at your convenience if you were unable to attend due to your busy schedule. Enrollment key: ccacpd
  • Technology and Learning
    ITS maintains this online course, chock-full of resources and documentation for technologies that enhance learning and the classroom environment, including Panopto Lecture Capture, Epson Interactive Projectors, Dell e-Instruction, Smartboard Software, Camtasia Video Production, and more.   • Datatel Colleague Training and Resources
    The Datatel Colleague Training and Resources site maintains on-line training for Datatel Colleague modules, as well as the most up-to-date documentation for Datatel processes. Videos, quick guides and cheat sheets are offered to help you build skills in the Datatel Colleague system, including User Interface, Purchasing, Student Information, Curriculum, Communications Management, etc. Call the ServiceDesk if you are not already enrolled.
  • i-SOS Information Security & Online Safety
    Do you really have the knowledge and awareness to stay safe online? There are two courses available, one for employees and one for students. Employees enrollment key: ccacsecure
  • Technology for Administrative Systems
    Documentation and training resources for other technology systems, including CRM and Cisco IP Phones. Enrollment key: ccactech
  • Appointment Central
    Whether you are a manager or agent in the Appointment Central system, videos and user guides are online to help you navigate your role in the system. Enrollment key: ccacappt
  • R25 Resources
    Online resources for schedulers and viewers. Enrollment key: ccacrooms
  • Kronos Timekeeping
    Resources and documentation for the Kronos timekeeping system. Enrollment key: ccactime
  • Informer Query Builder
    This online course walks you through searching, running reports, exporting and customizing user settings for effective reporting. Enrollment key: ccacquery
  • ImageNow Document Imaging System
    Find videos and user guides that support your use of the document imaging system, whether you are responsible for scanning documents or viewing imaged documents to better serve students. Enrollment key: ccacdoc
