The need for highly trained mechanical maintenance persons is necessitated by the changing work environment. The certificate program addresses that need by preparing the student with the skills and procedures in many diverse areas of mechanical maintenance. The training will provide students with the opportunity to work as a mechanical maintenance technician for a business and industry that utilizes industrial size machines and equipment.
