Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of the Two-year College. Membership is by invitation only, granted biannually. A new member orientation and an initiation ceremony are hosted each spring and fall semester. Each CCAC campus has its own chapter.     

Sigma Omicron’s criteria for membership for full-time and part-time students:

• Be enrolled for credit class(es) at the Boyce Campus;
• Accumulated at least twelve CCAC college credits that could be applied toward a CCAC associate degree or certificate;
• Earned a CCAC GPA of 3.50 or better, exclusive of developmental courses.
• A one-time, lifetime membership fee for International, Regional and Local memberships is assessed prior to initiation.

Sigma Omicron welcomes provisional members – those Boyce Campus students who would like to be introduced to Phi Theta Kappa and its programs while they are waiting to meet full eligibility requirements.
