All students participating on the team pay a fee for the privilege of playing on the team and must maintain high academic standards.

Students interested in joining the Ice Hockey Team should download and complete the NJCAA Athletic Information Form (below) and return it to the Student Life office or turn it in at the tryouts.  All students ARE REQUIRED to have a physical before tryouts.

Benefit Game for The Best of the Batch Foundation

The CCAC North Campus Intercollegiate Ice Hockey Team hosted their sixth annual benefit hockey game on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center.   This year’s charity event was played against the Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey Team and benefited The Best of the Batch Foundation.

Every player's game-worn jersey was sold and that money was added in with game and auction ticket sales.  There were 43 items auctioned off, most notably an autographed Marc-Andre Fleury hockey jersey, autographed Charlie Batch mini footballs, a night's stay at Hyatt Place along with a $100 Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse gift card, and various gift cards from local eateries.

The event raised $3,039.80 and the check was presented to Charlie Batch and Latasha-Wilson Batch on December 5, 2014.  The money will be used for BatchPacks which is a back-to-school initiative that supplies students with school supplies and a backpack.

Over the past six years, the CCAC–North Campus Intercollegiate Ice Hockey team has raised  $16,500 for local charities.
