
CCAC is no longer accepting students into Social Work Specialist: Family Intervention (681.4). Students enrolled in this program have until end of first summer 2015 to complete the program requirements. To review program requirements for 681.4, see the program’s graduation checksheet. Effective fall 2013, Social Work Foundation (630.4) the revised Social Work degree program will be offered to students. Social Work: Fundamentals of Social Work Foundation (658) certificate will also be available fall 2013 for students who attend other colleges in the summer, students who want to transfer or individuals in human service related profession with no or little formal social work instruction. |

Certificate (681.4)
The Family Intervention program prepares you to work in community agencies that provide parent training, behavioral intervention and other types of support for families having children or adult members with mental health or retardation problems. Students must be eligible for clearances through the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Check.
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will:
