The Community College of Allegheny County fosters strong relationships with local, county, state and federal government entities for the good of our students. This includes advocating for education-related issues and budget allocations as well as positioning the college with key workforce and opinion leaders.
The college’s government relations efforts are handled by two offices that build and maintain relationships and work to provide information and assistance to these entities when needed. These offices are CCAC’s principal source of information on governmental matters and are the institutional points of contact for federal, state, county and local governments and community representatives and their staffs.
