PDUs to Maintain Your PMP® Credential

Whether you are a certified Project Management Professional® earning professional development units (PDUs) or just looking to learn more about a specific project management topic, you may participate in any of the training sessions below. For more information, contact Brian Hannon at 412.788.7357 or bhannon@ccac.edu.

As a PMP® credential holder, you need to earn 60 PDUs during each three-year cycle to adhere to PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program to maintain your credential.


PDU Course Offerings

Leadership in Project Management – 14 PDUs
The purpose of this course is to equip project managers and leaders with the necessary skills and techniques necessary to lead project teams. Project teams have unique challenges when it comes to motivation, conflict, and meeting short-term deliverables. Topics covered include a review of which organizational model is best for your project, how to balance the competing demands of your stakeholders, and review of best practices to increase project team performance and success.

Managing Multiple Projects – 14 PDUs
The purpose of this course is to equip project managers and project teammembers with the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to effectively manage multiple projects.  Topics covered include identifying multi-project logical dependencies, resource management, risks, and communications.  Management of stakeholder expectations and applying scheduling and estimating best practices will also be covered.
