What are Space (Room) Features?

Space features are characteristics of a room or equipment that is permanently located in a room. The features listed below in all capital letters may be requested by faculty members for a specific section during the section building process so that Schedule 25 (S25) will consider the features during scheduling runs.  These features are seen as requirements for the section and S25 will not place a section in a room unless it has all features requested. If too many features are requested, no room may exist at the location, and the section will not be assigned to a room.

Requesting Space (Room) Features

To request features for sections, notations of the requested features may be made on the CSARs and returned to the senior secretaries. The senior secretary will enter these features into the SOFF screen for sections. When the section information is exported from Datatel to Resource 25 (R25), the profile of room features is also exported and is used during the bulk scheduling run.
