Effective January 1, 2011

Fuel surcharge—Pittsburgh Flight Training Center (PFTC) will begin the January 1, 2011 contract with a $5.00 per flight hour fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be assessed independently of the flight fees and will not be utilized in the College’s calculation of the Performance Incentive.

The Pittsburgh Flight School will bill the students as the students complete their flight time.  The cost of the flight courses WILL remain the same.

The new fuel surcharge will take effect January 1, 2011. This surcharge is necessary for the Pittsburgh Flight School to remain viable.  CCAC has agreed with the surcharge and will extend our contract with the Pittsburgh Flight School for the 2011-2013 contract period.
