
Students selecting the Vascular Ultrasound field of study (C) will perform examinations of the peripheral and cerebral vascular systems, using Doppler technique and conventional ultrasound imaging. Students selecting the Vascular Ultrasound field of study will be eligible to sit for the vascular specialty boards. Vascular sonographers may work in hospital dedicated vascular departments, general or cardiac ultrasound departments, doctors' offices, clinics or mobile services.
