PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Board of Trustees welcomes two new members this fall.

Amy M. Kuntz
Amy M. Kuntz is a senior vice president and market director for PNC Institutional Investments in the Greater Pittsburgh area. She oversees both the business development staff as well as the portfolio managers who deliver investment management and administrative services to retirement plans and charitable and endowment assets. She also serves as the chair of PNC’s Charitable Trust Committee, which oversees grant distributions for more than 30 charitable trusts. Prior to serving as market director in Pittsburgh, she served the same role in Washington, DC, as part of PNC’s acquisition of Riggs Bank.

Ms. Kuntz has achieved the designation of Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) through the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program, a joint program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has been a featured speaker for the International Foundation for Employee Benefits Plans at both regional and national events. She has also been published in the Employee Benefits Journal.

She has a Pennsylvania teaching certificate and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Westminster College in 1995. Ms. Kuntz joined the CCAC Board of Trustees in August 2009; her term lasts through December 2012.

Joseph G. Brimmeier
Joseph G. Brimmeier is the chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, where he has successfully implemented Turnpike toll increases, navigated through a 2004 Teamster’s Union strike and launched a program to rebuild “America’s First Superhighway” from the ground up. He is currently leading Turnpike Commission efforts to fulfill its commitment to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide billions of dollars in new transportation funding via Act 44 of 2007 while increasing efficiency and reducing operating expenses.

Mr. Brimmeier has more than 30 years of government experience at the local, state and federal levels. He held numerous positions with Allegheny County and has served as municipal manger of Monroeville, deputy auditor general for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and chief of staff for US Congressman Ron Klink. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Youngstown State University. Mr. Brimmer begins his tenure with the CCAC Board of Trustees with the November 2009 meeting tomorrow.
