The following resources are available to individuals who may need assistance in preparing a resume and/or cover letter.
CCAC Career Services assists community members, students and alumni in all aspects of their job search. Individual, group, on-line and in-print assistance with resume and cover letter writing, successful interviewing techniques and effective job search skills are available.
Students, alumni and community members can access on-line resources through the CCAC Job Placement & Career Services webpage. Individual or group assistance can be scheduled by contacting the Job Placement & Career Services office at a campus most convenient to you.
Books on resumes and cover letters are available in any library. Search and reserve books through CCAC's Online Library System.
Applicants are welcome to use the sample templates provided thto enter his/her information, and then upload as an attachment during the applying process.
Resume formats can vary depending on the type of position of interest and what areas a person wants to highlight, such as, education and work experience. The following template is an example of one type of format:
