Allied Health Information Session

This session will include presentations on all three listed programs. Information will be given on the Enrollment Process, including the admission application, placement testing and financial aid.

- The Pharmacy Technician works in retail pharmacies, mail-order and hospital pharmacies and home infusion companies. Pharmacy technicians assist registered pharmacists in compounding, distributing medications preparing intravenous admixtures and providing other pharmaceutical care services.
- The Medical Laboratory Technician works in hospitals, private clinics, clinic health center laboratory departments or research areas. The MLT performs laboratory testing and evaluates, correlates and validates analytical data on patient specimens. The MLT also processes specimens, runs quality control and monitors instrumentation in clinical settings.
- The Medical Laboratory Assistant (Specimen Processor) works in hospitals, private clinic and clinic health care center laboratory departments. The MLA collects specimens, enters patient information into laboratory computer systems, sorts, processes and distributes specimens to appropriate departments and performs simple waived tests.

You will see three red links that read Appointment Central. Click any of the three. From there, you will see two drop down menus. Select South Campus on the first drop down and Allied Health Information Session on the second drop down. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion of the online registration form.
