Overview of Reserve Education Assistance Program (REAP)

Basic Eligibility

Members of the Reserve Component called to active duty in response to a war or a national emergency declared by the President or by Congress fall under REAP.

If you contributed additional $600 to the GI Bill your monthly benefits will increase. To be eligible to pay into the buy-up program, you must be a member of a Ready Reserve component.
