PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC)–West Hills Center is hosting a free Career Training Open House on Monday, October 1, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the center’s atrium. CCAC’s Career Training Open House is part of a wider schedule of events hosted by Pennsylvania’s 14 community colleges throughout the month of October to showcase career training in high-demand fields such as health care technology, advanced manufacturing and energy.
CCAC staff will be available for personalized tours of the facility and programs including mechatronics, alternative energy, the trades and more. In addition, staff members will be available to answer questions about admissions procedures, financial aid opportunities, supportive services, career placement and workforce training.
