POST CONVERSION – How this affects everyone

Welcome to SQL!!

Log in to both Datatel Colleague ( and CCAC Central using your Network Username and Password.

System functionality, look-and-feel, and work processes primarily remain unchanged. The old desktop icon has been removed from college PC’s and replaced with icons for Ellucian Colleague and Informer (see image). If you have created favorites in Internet Explorer, you may need to re-create them for the new production system.

The biggest change is the way you will log in and manage your password. Both EllucianColleague (Datatel) and CCAC Central will now use your network username and password. On CCAC Central, the “Create/Reset your CCAC Central Username and Password” link has been removed from the menus for students, faculty, and employees.

If your Colleague username was truncated to 8 characters in the past, your staff record has been updated in Colleague to use your full username (same as network). Your favorites and preferences have been copied for you to the new system. If you are an employee who had a second username in the CCAC Central system, you will now log in to CCAC Central with your employee network username.

If you are an enterer for Purchasing, please use full usernames in the “Next Approvers” fields (example: JCHRISTENSEN). If you are an approver, you will need to enter both usernames in APRN to check on requisitions and vouchers until all items were approved using the old truncated username.

We have also reengineered the NetID system for students. Students will now be able to create their NetID username and password from outside the network (no sooner than 30 days before the start date of their class). Students who apply to the college after December 1, 2013 will be provided a netid username with the convention of firstname.lastname (eg, george.washington).
