Subject Directories: Library

Many university libraries review, collect, and organize material into subject guides so it may be more easily found and used for research. Below are two examples.

CCAC's Resources by Subject
Resources by Subject

These highlight the most important sources in an academic discipline.

They provide links to appropriate databases for that a subject.

The material selected for inclusion has been reviewed by librarians and is usually annotated. They also highlight important websites that have been selected by CCAC librarians.

Other excellent library subject directories:  Librarians' Index to the Internet, The Scout Report, Internet Public Library, and Social Science Information Gateway.
