This program prepares the student for an entry-level position as a clinician in a drug and/or alcohol treatment center. Training is in counseling technique, case management, prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation.Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will:
Upon completion of this program, graduates may seek employment in entry-level positions such as interviewers in rehabilitation treatment settings, halfway houses, detox centers, missions, women's shelters, juvenile treatment facilities, and methadone maintenance centers.
