The John Dziak Faculty Development & Engagement Fund was established to honor the strong record of generosity and excellence in teaching. It is designed to promote faculty innovation with the goal of increasing student engagement. The fund annually provides four awards of up to $500 each for faculty members, called Dziak Fellows, to identify and test class strategies that can be used with their colleagues to improve learning outcomes and student engagement. Projects are to be completed within one semester.

Completed applications, with all required information, are due to the CCAC Educational Foundation by Monday, April 3. Any questions may be addressed to the CCAC Educational Foundation at edfdn@ccac.edu or 412.237.6514.

The Application Review Committee will meet to review the applications in April and applicants will be notified in May. Selected applicants will be required to submit a final report with a formal evaluation of the project and a list of expenses.
