    Name: Jackie Meyers

I began teaching at Allegheny Campus in 1967 – one year before Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy were assassinated. The war in Vietnam was raging and many students were protesting the war. Neil Armstrong was the first to walk on the moon in 1969.

I have been privileged to teach many students during my 51 years at CCAC. This has been an awesome responsibility!

As a Professor of Psychology and a practicing Psychologist, I believe I have introduced to my students, the fascinating workings of the human mind.

For you, pretty much anything is possible. It’s important to have dreams. Never give up! Work hard, don’t complain or look for a short cut, persevere, be earnest, solve the problem, have fun and show gratitude.

It’s all up to you, go out and do it!
