PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County will celebrate its 2014 commencement with ceremonies beginning at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15 at the Peterson Events Center located on the upper campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Oakland. A gathering of approximately 4,000 students, family members, faculty, staff and other guests are expected to attend to recognize the more than 425 graduates who will participate in the ceremony.
Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald will deliver the commencement address. Associate Professor Carmen Livingston and Jackline Ouma, both of CCAC South Campus, will deliver the faculty greeting and student reflections, respectively.
