CCAC South Campus Summer Theatre presents “Guys and Dolls”

PITTSBURGH—The Community College of Allegheny County South Campus Summer Theatre will present the award-winning musical Guys and Dolls in August.The musical will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on August 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13. There will also be a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Sunday, August 7. The 32-member cast includes students and graduates of CCAC South Campus, as well as members of the community.

The musical, which ran for 1,200 performances on Broadway following its premiere in 1950, won five Tony Awards including Best Musical in 1951. Set in Depression-era New York City, the lively plot line revolves around two habitual gamblers and the women who love them.

Admission to the performance is $10. For CCAC students, faculty and staff, there is a suggested donation of $5 to the Kevin Dilworth Memorial Theatre and Dance Scholarship Fund or a non-perishable food item for the Campus Cupboard South Food Pantry.
