ALERT: CCAC will be closed January 19, 20 and 21, 2019 with all weekend classes cancelled

Due to inclement weather conditions, all CCAC campuses, centers and off-campus locations will be closed on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20 and all weekend classes will be cancelled. The college will also be closed on Monday, January 21 to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The college will reopen for business on Tuesday morning, January 22.

CCAC North Campus to host Candidate Forum November 1

PITTSBURGH-The Community College of Allegheny County's North Campus will host a Candidate Forum on Thursday, November 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the North Campus Atrium stage. The forum will feature four candidates-two running for the Pennsylvania Senate and two running for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Members of the public are invited to attend. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the forum will feature Lindsey Williams (D) and Jeremy Shaffer (R), candidates for the Pennsylvania State Senate District 38 seat. From 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., the forum will feature Emily Skopov (D) and Rep. Michael Turzai (R), candidates for the Pennsylvania State Legislative District 28 seat. 

The forum is sponsored by and will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh. CCAC Honors students will volunteer as greeters and timers. The event is open to the media.
