The Community College of Allegheny County provides a supportive and transformative learning environment that prepares graduates to meet critical needs in the region’s workforce.
At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
The award-winning Public Relations and Marketing Department works to promote CCAC and its activities through strategic, cost-effective advertising and marketing campaigns, college publications and overall branding efforts, among other activities. The department oversees the public face of the college, providing design, branding and message development assistance to projects large and small. The department also provides review and oversight to ensure that materials representing the college include accurate and correct information regarding the college and its constituencies.
Department staff members work closely with faculty and administrators to effectively market new programs, initiatives and special events. To accomplish this, the team writes, designs and produces numerous printed and other visual materials including catalogs and schedules, handbooks, programs, brochures, fact sheets, posters, flyers, postcards, invitations and signage. In addition, the department develops the college's TV, radio, print and online advertising campaigns and is available to help create and place program-specific advertising. To request services, complete the Request for Marketing Services form.
CCAC's Public Relations and Marketing Department offers promotional items for distribution at events and for general use. Custom orders may also be accommodated with sufficient advance notice. For more information or to place orders, please contact Sharon Nepomuceno at 412.237.3101.
Marketing maintains a digital database of images of CCAC students and faculty members for use in advertising campaigns and marketing materials. CCAC can only use these images if permission, in the form of a signed release form, is obtained from the individual or individuals featured in the photographic images. Completed release forms may be returned to the department secretary.
