Software for Students
Office 365 Education is a plan that's available to students who are currently attending an academic institution. The service is being offered free of charge to all CCAC students and will enable you to download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office up to five times on multiple devices. This agreement is made between Microsoft and CCAC students. CCAC can assist with some questions but does not determine eligibility, use of the plan or licensing structure. This is determined through Microsoft.
What does the Office 365 Package include?
Upon installing Office 365, you will have access to full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and more, plus 1 TB of free storage on OneDrive. You can install Office up to 5 times on any PC or Mac. It's available for free to students who are currently attending CCAC.

What is OneDrive?
OneDrive is an online storage service that you can use to store documents, photos, music and other types of files. With OneDrive you can access your files from almost any device and you can also share them with others. For more information on OneDrive, visit Microsoft OneDrive.
How long can I use this plan?
You can use the plan until you graduate or are no longer enrolled at a qualifying school. Student eligibility may be re-verified at any time. At expiration, the Office applications enter a reduced functionality mode, which means documents can be viewed but it isn't possible to edit or create new documents. In addition, online services associated with the school email address, for example Office Online and OneDrive, will no longer work.
Microsoft Azure Dev Tools
What is Microsoft Azure Dev Tools? Imagine is a Microsoft program that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching and research purposes.
Who is eligible? Students currently enrolled in CIT courses are eligible to access the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools site to download software. Accounts will be disabled at the end of every term and re-enabled at the beginning of the next term as long as the student is taking CIT courses.
How does it work? At the beginning of each term, ITS staff will create Microsoft Azure Dev Tools accounts for each CIT student and faculty member. When these accounts are created an email is automatically sent to the student's academic email account. This email contains instructions for registering and accessing the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools account.
What software is available? Microsoft Office is not included in the Imagine program (please see Office 365, above). However, there are many operating systems, developer tools, server software and other applications that are available in the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools program. Access the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools Webstore to view the entire list of available software.
