CCAC Emergency Alerts

As of May 20, 2019, CCAC is using the Rave emergency alert system which includes both Rave Alerts and the Rave Guardian app. This will result in faster, more reliable and more efficient communication in the event of an emergency or campus closure.

To make sure your account is properly set up to receive email, voice/voicemail and text alerts in the event of an emergency or college closure, please take a few minutes to:

• Login to my.ccac.edu and check that your contact information in your user profile is up to date—any updates you make will automatically update in Rave Alerts.
• Confirm that you want to receive text alerts by clicking on the Rave Alerts link in the Quick Links area of MyCCAC and following the prompts on the screen. (Standard messaging rates apply.)
• Alternatively: All CCAC Rave Alerts users may access their accounts by going directly to https://getrave.com

• Download the Rave Guardian app from your phone's app store and login with your NetID. We strongly recommend downloading and familiarizing yourself with this app.
• The Rave Guardian app offers convenient safety features that connect you directly to campus security or emergency services, as well as anonymous reporting tools, a directory of campus contact information and more. You do not need to download the app in order to receive email, text and voice alerts, but it is required for geo-fenced alerts.

Please note:

• This system has replaced the @CCACAlerts Twitter account for emergency notifications; there is no need to follow it now.
• Non-CCAC students/employees can sign up to receive text alerts by texting CCACALERTS to 67283. Students & employees do NOT need to do this—you are automatically signed up through your CCAC account.

College delay or closure announcements will also be posted to the CCAC website, our non-emergency Facebook and Twitter accounts, MyCCAC announcements, email, and local news stations.
