Federal Student Aid is something to consider in conjunction with your GI Bill®. This can be done by completing a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). Many students think that this isn't necessary because they have GI Bill benefits, but there are grants and scholarships available which don't need to be paid back and don't go against the VA Education Benefits. Grants are need-based awards determined by income and cost of living.
The following list only represents some of the more commonly received scholarships by Veteran students and does not cover all available scholarships. For specific information on scholarships you should contact the agency responsible for the scholarship.

Make sure you fill out your FAFSA each year after taxes and visit CCAC's OMVS office each semester to certify for your benefits.
