Community College of Allegheny County students Jacob Graleski of Beaver and Andrew Knez of Bridgeville have been recognized as Apprentice of the Year award winners by the German American Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh Chapter. The Apprentice of the Year Award is given to an apprentice who demonstrates extraordinary skills and abilities inside and outside of the classroom.

PITTSBURGH—A group of 12 CCAC Honors students embarked on the adventure of a lifetime when they journeyed to India earlier this month for an 11-day international study tour. It was the third time the CCAC Honors program has traveled to India; the first trip took place in January 2016.

The Community College of Allegheny County’s South Campus Theatre will present the new musical “Normal-C” on Friday, January 17, at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, January 18, at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. The musical will be performed by the original cast of students from Baldwin High School, where it made its world debut in November. The compelling story centers around three special-needs teenagers who face a dilemma—do they sacrifice everything that makes them unique for a chance to be “normal?”
