Apply to Serve as a CCAC Student Trustee
The Community College of Allegheny County Board of Trustees is seeking the participation of a CCAC student to serve on the board as a non-voting member.
As the student trustee's role is to represent the interests of the entire CCAC student body before the board, this is an opportunity to become the voice for the more than 50,000 students who attend CCAC every year.

Student Trustee Role & Responsibilities
- Serve one term of office beginning in September 2019 and concluding at the end of June 2020.
- Attend regular meetings of the CCAC Board of Trustees; sit with the trustees and participate in all public discussions and deliberations (for a list of upcoming meeting dates, click here).
- Review the board packet and other information being provided to board members in advance of each meeting.
- When requested, represent CCAC at local, state and/or national advocacy and professional development events.
Applicants must be in good academic, financial and behavioral standing, must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be registered for a minimum of 12 credits for the entirety of the term of office.
