Physics

This program provides students with a broad understanding of physics. Graduates may then pursue a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution and prepare for additional training in many scientific fields.

Expected growth in federal government spending for research in physics and astronomy should increase the need for physicists and astronomers, especially at colleges, universities and national laboratories. Graduates have the opportunity to enter careers with very strong earning potential.
