Imagine watching your favorite movie or TV show and knowing that you have what it takes to stand up there and deliver one of the character’s lines with charisma and precision. THR 210–Acting for Television is your chance to explore life behind the screen and experience the world of television and film acting.

This course will empower you with the fundamental skills needed to transition from stage acting to acting on camera. From learning how to be in the right place for a shot or scene to using the camera to your advantage, you’re in store for a comprehensive acting experience. 

During the course, you will have the opportunity to rehearse and record monologues and scenes and do commercial work to get comfortable with acting for the camera. What's more, you will provide and receive feedback on performance tapes. You will also learn about professional practices, headshots, resumes and auditions.
