About Transcripts and Degree Verification

The National Student Clearinghouse is the college's authorized agent for providing transcripts and enrollment verification. Students are able to request that transcripts be delivered electronically in minutes or in paper format which may take up to 3-5 business days.

To Obtain an Enrollment Verification

Once classes have begun, you can obtain an enrollment certificate to print and mail to a health insurer or other company that requests proof of your enrollment. Enrollment verifications are free and include current or all enrollment and anticipated graduation date. Go to National Student Clearinghouse Enrollment Verification and log in with your CCAC username and password.

Enrollment verifications for the current term are available from the Clearinghouse by the end of the first week of class. If you need this verification sooner, contact [email protected]. We cannot supply enrollment verifications earlier than two weeks before the start of the term.

If the anticipated graduation date on file is not accurate, contact [email protected].

To Order Your Official Transcript

There is a $5.00 fee for each official transcript request. When requesting an official transcript, you will need the following:

  • Student ID or Social Security Number
  • Name and mailing address of recipient
  • Credit card

To obtain an unofficial transcript, see instructions under Current Student.

Unofficial Transcript

Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain paper and do not have a college seal or registrar's signature. Unofficial transcripts cannot be used to transfer to another college or university. Unofficial transcripts are issued for use by the student only. Unofficial transcript can be found under Academics in CCAC Self-Service.

Official Transcript

Official transcripts are printed on formal paper or digitally submitted and have a college seal or registrar's signature. Official transcripts can be used to transfer to another college or university.

TIP: Before you complete your request, check your unofficial transcript to ensure that all your grades are posted and, if you are a recent graduate, to ensure that your degree is posted. You should also confirm if there are any active holds on your record, which would prevent the release of your transcript.

If you are submitting the request before the end of the term and need to hold the request until grades or degree has been posted, make sure to choose "Hold for Grades" or "Hold for Degree" option.

If the receiving school participates in electronic data exchange, this method is  highly recommended. If you request electronic pdf or paper, make sure to send directly to the school or recipient to preserve the secure receipt. Schools may not accept paper transcripts that have been removed from a sealed envelope or pdf transcripts that have been forwarded from a source other than the sending institution.
