CCAC's Workforce Development provides training in the region's changing and emerging industries. Programs focus on the skills students need for jobs and the skills employers need to stay competitive.
What Type of Program Are You Looking For?
New Wastewater Treatment Operator Program
This 180-hour program prepares students for entry-level positions in wastewater collection and treatment systems. It focuses on the practical aspects of operating and maintaining these systems, emphasizing safe practices and procedures. This program qualifies students for a CCAC certificate of completion with continuing education units (CEUs) for operating wastewater treatment plant equipment.

Site tours at a Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Program Start: September 15, 2026
- Program End: April 29, 2027
- Class Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Class Times: 6 – 9pm
- Program Cost: $2,250.00
