If you ever wondered how they did that fight sequence in your favorite film, television show or stage show, this course can give you the insight and opportunity to acquire those skills.

THE 170 teaches you the techniques of safe and effective combat choreography, including falls, strikes, blocks and grappling. You'll learn to work closely and confidently with your scene partners to create intense physical conflict that will leave your audience on the edge of their seats!

During the semester, you'll train alongside your peers, building the skills and confidence needed to execute dynamic and realistic combat sequences. CCAC’s experienced instructors will guide you through the principles of safe partnering, ensuring that you and your scene partners can perform these challenging scenes without injury.

The course culminates in a final exam where you will showcase your newfound skills by performing a choreographed combat scene. This is your chance to demonstrate your mastery of the art and wow your instructors and peers.
