Biography

Curt Marlatt has over 45 years' experience in Information Technology. He started on IBM-360 series mainframe computers using punch card input. Curt saw the growth of the computer industry from the early mainframes to today's personal computers and cell phones.

He worked in almost all aspects of information systems software and administration, concluding his career as an Information Systems Technology Consultant. He also taught as a part-time Visiting Lecture / Adjunct Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh from 1998 thru 2006. When an opportunity presented itself, he left Adjunct Teaching to pursue a Consulting career.

After retiring in 2017 Curt took a few years off for personal reasons. Then he "got bored" so he decided to start teaching again in 2020, this time at CCAC. He also teaches Information Science courses at his MBA Alma Mater Robert Morris University.

I spent 45 years in Information Technology, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with the younger generation.

I have been on the ground in all 50 states.
