Biography
Dawnlyn aspires to teach the power of information. As a student, her advisor encouraged her to "graduate already," when she clearly had met all the requirements of her BA in English writing and history of art & architecture at the University of Pittsburgh. A continual learner, Dawnlyn loves supporting students in achieving their education goals.

Leading a team of creative librarians developing new ways to engage with students and support faculty and academic programs with library collections and services.
Being visited in the library by Rudy Valentino, a miniature therapy horse with the prettiest blue eyes!
Having learned the impact and agency created through education, I want to support others’ empowerment and love of learning through information literacy and critical thinking.
I am currently working on creating an online thrift store to raise funds for a small local non-profit organization that rescues homeless cats.
