CCAC Welcomes Pittsburgh Technical College Students

If you're a Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) student in one of the Teach-Out Programs, here's what you need to know about transferring to CCAC. You'll be considered a transfer student at CCAC. If you're in good academic standing at PTC, you can transfer to a similar program at CCAC, though admission to limited enrollment programs (like Nursing) isn't guaranteed, and you must meet all other requirements. CCAC will help you understand the qualifications needed for these programs. You'll pay the same tuition rates as other CCAC students. You can apply for scholarships and financial aid at CCAC by submitting the FAFSA and will be notified of your awards after review. CCAC will accept all PTC credits with a grade of "C" or better as long as they are relevant to your program. CCAC will also review any transfer credits PTC awarded. In summary, PTC students transferring to CCAC will receive support and fair treatment, with their credits honored, financial aid available, and advising support to make the transition as smooth as possible.

These tests are offered online, so you can take them anytime, anywhere.

Our Placement Testing page includes information about exemptions and accommodations, registration links, and additional resources.
