Biography
Dean Simpson is a multifaceted creative professional from the greater Pittsburgh area. As a fine artist and arts marketer, he brings a unique blend of artistic talent and marketing expertise to his role as Marketing Manager at Touchstone Center for Crafts. Driven by a passion for sharing knowledge, Dean also holds positions as adjunct faculty in the Art department at the Community College of Allegheny County and the departments of Art, Communication, and English at Carlow University in Pittsburgh.
Dean’s passion for continuous learning is evident in his diverse educational background. He studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of PA, Visual Communication at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Technology from Point Park University, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of the field.
With experience spanning various traditional and digital artistic disciplines, Dean’s unwavering focus remains on communicating stories through his art and marketing campaigns. Dean’s innovative approach to combining his artistic talents with marketing strategies sets him apart, making him a dynamic force in both the fine arts and arts marketing spheres.
