Biography

Elizabeth (known as Liz) is a retired English teacher who returned to the Pittsburgh area in the fall of 2020 after teaching for 31 years in central Virginia. After returning she started working as a long-term substitute for the high school she attended before finding the position for an embedded tutor at CCAC. Her family and friends tease her about "failing retirement" but she is doing exactly what she always planned to do upon retirement - working at the college level.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys attending the theater, watching movies, reading Ann Patchett novels, crafting and baking. She currently lives with her parents, two cats, and two dogs in Clarksville.
