Biography

Reis is a lifelong learner with a passion for teaching and computer science. Their main objective in life is to teach and learn as much as they can through a critical lens. Reis's teaching style is a mixture of hands-on learning, discussion, and lecture with a focus on evaluating student mastery. Some learning activities you may experience in Prof. Reis's classes include interactive notebooks, code-alongs, collaborative projects, and working hands-on using simulations. They also emphasize the importance of soft skills like professional communication, working in diverse spaces, time management, and goal setting. Whether you are online, on Zoom, or in-person, your experience will be student-centered and individualized to meet your needs.
