Biography

Chef Hunt graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County and The American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program while working at The Pittsburgh Athletic Association. After completing his 3-year Apprenticeship, he worked at the Cafe Cappuccino and then the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Chef Hunt returned to Pittsburgh where he worked at Nemacolin Woodlands and Smitty's at Southwest Marina before becoming a culinary instructor at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute where he became Dean of Culinary Arts for 12 years. Chef Hunt then served as Director of Culinary Affairs for Le Cordon Bleu North America for 4 years and then worked as the Chef Manager of The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Presbyterian Hospital for 5 years. Chef Hunt is now an Adjunct Instructor in the Culinary Arts Program of CCAC Allegheny Campus.

Being accepted into the first ACF Apprentice Program in the U.S. at CCAC Allegheny Campus and now teaching in that program.

I teach because I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have been fortunate enough to have experienced.

I teach drawing classes in the non-credit community education of CCAC
