CCAC Recognized as a 2023 Vibrant Index Champion

The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) has been named a 2023 Vibrant Index Champion for its success and best practices in addressing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The Vibrant Index is a collaboration between Vibrant Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Conference on Community Development to drive DEI changes across industry and sectors.
Designed to provide an annual snapshot of the best practices being utilized by employers in the Pittsburgh region, the Vibrant Index process captures how participating organizations are addressing DEI through their policies and workplace practices. CCAC is one of 11 organizations scoring 95% or more in all nine index pillars. Areas scored include written commitment and transparency; benefits and policies; employee networks; leadership, training and education; data and accountability; talent recruitment engagement and retention; supplier diversity and community engagement.
