CCAC and Point Park University Sign Articulation Agreement
The Community College of Allegheny County and Point Park University have signed an articulation agreement that provides CCAC students with seamless transfer opportunities to Point Park University programs. The agreement enables CCAC students who have successfully completed a CCAC associate degree in Accounting, Accounting Specialist, Biology, Business Management, Business (TAOC), Criminal Justice & Criminology, Fire & Emergency Services, Liberal Arts, Paralegal, Psychology, Social Science and Social Work Foundation and who meet Point Park's admission requirements to enroll with junior status at Point Park University in an appropriate Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree program.
In addition, full-time, on-ground CCAC students meeting the conditions for acceptance will be awarded a Merit Scholarship ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 a year. These students will also receive a one-time Community College Transfer Scholarship for $2,000. Phi Theta Kappa students will receive an additional $1,000 a year.
CCAC has articulation agreements with 29 colleges and universities that facilitate easy credit transfers in 125 programs.
