CCAC Honored the Class of 2025 during Commencement Ceremonies at Acrisure Stadium

CCAC held its 58th annual Commencement exercises at Acrisure Stadium last Thursday, May 22. Family members, friends, faculty and staff were on hand to recognize the participating graduates. This year, CCAC conferred a total of 1,811 degrees, certificates and diplomas from among more than 130 programs of study on the 1,674 graduates in the Class of 2025.
The Nursing Pinning ceremony, during which CCAC “pinned” 257 Nursing students, followed the Commencement exercises. This ceremony also included the traditional Florence Nightingale pledge and “Passing of the Lamp.”
Individuals with roles in the Commencement program included former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Arthur Moats, who gave the Commencement address; CCAC President Dr. Quintin Bullock; CCAC Professor Emeritus & Grand Marshall Richard Laurent; CCAC Board of Trustees Chair Kevin Kinross; CCAC Provost & Chief Academic Officer Dr. Stephen Wells; Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services Mary Lou Kennedy; CCAC Professor Rita Gallegos; CCAC Bursar Kenneth Bush; member of the CCAC Educational Foundation Board of Directors and alumna of the Class of 1975 Dr. Roseann Ferrara-Love; and CCAC Student Trustee and 2025 graduate Kenian S. Williams. The national anthem was performed by 2025 graduate Kyle Allan Turner.
