CCAC hosts open house events, financial aid workshop and campus tours in April

CCAC will host April open house events at the college’s Main campus, South campus and West Hills Center. A Financial Aid Workshop is also planned at CCAC Main campus. In addition, campus tours will be held throughout the month at the four CCAC campuses.

CCAC Barbering Students Earn Mental Wellness Ambassador and Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Certifications

CCAC Barbering students at the college’s Homewood-Brushton Center have completed the “Our HAIR” (Health Access Initiative for Recovery) training program offered as part of the center’s collaboration with the Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (Community Care). The class received certificates for both Wellness Ambassador and QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper programs.

Local student artists recognized during CCAC Space Day awards presentation

CCAC recently honored the two student artists from Parkway West Career & Technology Center (CTC) who designed the NASA mission patches that traveled to space and back as part of a competition sponsored by the CCAC Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) team.

CCAC student named as Student Liaison by the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association

Humaira Ali, a CCAC student in the Health Information Technology program, has been named as a 2026 Student Liaison by the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association (PHIMA).
